Writing in the Lowlands
In 2016 the Frankfurter Buchmesse paid extra attention to literature from the Netherlands and Flanders, which was supported by the production of a series of writer portraits, made by directors of name.
25 Portraits of writers from the Netherlands and Flanders appeared, selected by the Dutch Foundation for Literature. The authors of a 'middle generation' have already proven their quality, and given their age, a large number of publications can still be expected.
